Boro Bathrooms are a family-run business in the truest sense of the word. Our humble beginnings date back to 1974, when David Bargh founded the company by selling his plumbing supplies to local customers and businesses throughout Rochdale on his trusty horse and cart.
All these years later, the Bargh family are proud to still hold the reins of the company. Today, we are run by David’s son, Ivan Bargh, who is assisted by Ivan’s son and David’s grandson, Joe Bargh.

Our Rochdale showroom is the biggest in the area, and our Bury showroom is at least the second-biggest in its area. With staff boasting over 50 years of experience running each showroom and our displays showing off products from the best and biggest brands from across Europe, we’re always pleased to invite people to come and have a cup of tea and a chat to talk about your dream bathroom!
There is! Both of our showrooms in Bury and Rochdale are located very centrally to the towns they are in, and both have completely free customer parking. We want it to be as simple, easy and inviting as possible for you to come down for a quick chat!
If you’re in or around the areas of Bury and Rochdale, then good news: Boro Bathrooms does all local surveys completely for free! Not only this, but our surveys even include a state-of-the-art CAD design service. This allows you to fully design and visualise your dream bathroom so that you know exactly what to expect and how it will end up looking!
Most of the products that we sell here at Boro Bathrooms are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is usually from two years up to a brilliant lifetime guarantee. Because we deal with a number of different manufacturers and suppliers, we’re more than happy to sit down with you and fully explain the warranty details of any bathroom product you’re planning on purchasing from us.
Boro Bathrooms began in the 1970s as a small local business, and as we have grown, so has our clientele. But we still pride ourselves on our service to the local area! As such, we offer completely free delivery of any and all of our products to anywhere in the North West of England. If you live anywhere local to Boro Bathrooms, then delivery is free of charge!
Of course, we also distribute and delivery anywhere nationwide these days too, but this is chargeable depending on your location. If you want more information, just get in touch with us for a chat and we’ll let you know about any delivery charges!
Every single bathroom is a little bit different. When it comes to the installation period, this is still the case. A large wet room will take up more time to install than a small en-suite, for example. Generally speaking, however, our excellent fitting teams usually take around 7-8 working days to get the job done. Just to make sure, they’ll often book in for two weeks so that they’ve got time to do the job as well as they possibly can without rushing!
